The health benefits of organic

> Unprocessed products contain fewer synthetic additions (corn starch, sweeteners, pesticides, etc.) whose toxicity of some of these components is often pointed out.

> From a nutritional point of view, some organic products also show a better intake of essential fats (meats, dairy products, eggs), calcium (goat cheese, sheep's milk) and vitamins (fruits and vegetables).

> Finally, the followers of the organic food underline that these are more "tasty" . Unmodified, and without synthetic additions, the flavors (especially fruits and vegetables) would stand out better.

The disadvantages of bio

> The price
The first criticism of organic is its price. Because the respect of the regulations of production has a cost that the farmers pass on the sales prices of their products. Thus, despite the current efforts of producers and distributors, organic would remain on average between 20 and 30% more expensive.

> ConservationIn order to obtain the organic label, the preservatives integrated into the products are limited ... and the shelf life of food is therefore generally shorter. It must be verified.

> Difficult to find
The supermarkets offer almost all their organic range. But some products are still rare, especially in small towns.
