The cells of our skin multiply, die and renew themselves constantly. But, once dead, they accumulate on the surface of the skin, preventing it from breathing, making the complexion duller.

The scrub, or "exfoliation", aims to rid the skin of these dead cells, stimulating cell regeneration and the micro-circulation of the face or body.

Which scrub to choose?

There are all kinds of scrubs on the market: for the face, the body, the feet, which come in jars, tubes, integrated shower gel ...

> For the face:
Prefer soft textures with fruit stones, clay, jojoba seeds, microbeads of silica (vegetable) or citrine (mineral) because the skin is thinner on the face than on the rest of the body.

> For the body:
You can use stronger products such as pumice stone, natural loofah fiber (vegetable sponge) or sea salt crystals.

How to make a scrub?

The principle is simple: put a dab of exfoliating product in the palm of your hand and apply it on the clean and wet skin, with light circular massages, without rubbing, to avoid the risk of distending the tissues or irritating the skin .

> For the face:
From the inside to the outside, going down on the neck and décolleté. Rinse with warm water with a washcloth or an extra large cotton disc

> For the body:
From the shoulders to the feet through the back, chest, arms, legs, without rubbing too hard in areas where the skin is thin. You can rinse with a stream of fresh water to tone your body.

We often deplore an oval of the face less clear, cheeks that are deepened, and a skin that, wrinkled under the effect of muscle contractions (lion's wrinkle, nasolabial fold, contour of the mouth
