Indication

Adjunctive treatment of congestive states of the oropharynx.

NB: before the general clinical signs of bacterial infection, a general antibiotic therapy should be considered.

Dosage

Reserved for children over 6 years old

1 to 3 suppositories a day.

Duration of treatment

The duration of treatment is limited to 3 days.

Against indications

· Hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients.

· Children under 6 years old.

· Children with a history of epilepsy or febrile seizures.

· Recent history of anorectal injury.

· Renal failure.

Side effects BI-Qui-Nol Enfant

Because of the presence of terpene derivatives and in case of non-compliance with the recommended doses, risk of seizures in children.

Effects related to guaiacol

Epigastric pain, nausea, vomiting.

Effects related to the suppository form

Local irritation.
